Today, for the first time, someone other than family wished Tadd "Happy Father's Day". And even though he told me he didn't want to fully celebrate today since the kids aren't home yet and it doesn't quite feel "real", I saw in his smile a look that still endears me after all these years: a mixture of happiness, pride and a touch of humility.

Happy Father's Day, to my dear husband and the father of my children. You are a wonderful man, son, and friend. I consider myself blessed to be on this journey with you.
