Thing that made me go HA!
Tonight, after a very busy day, I came home and was able to catch the new show on Fox called "Hole In The Wall". It is a game show based on a show in Japan. Two team compete against each other by seeing who can jump through huge life-sized cut-outs that come towards them. If they cannot fit through the holes perfectly, they get pushed in a pool of some sort of green stuff.
I am not ashamed to say that I thought it was FLIPPIN' HIGH-STARE-ICAL! It was so deliciously bizarre and wacky! When one guy not only missed the hole, but also brought the wall in two?? BWAHAHAHAHA!!
My one complaint...I'm not a huge fan of Brooke Burns. She is gorgeous, no doubt, but she is not known for her on-screen charisma. Which you sort of need to be a television game host or at least a good one.
Am I bitter? Ok, yes a little. I mean, who is her agent?! How does she keep getting host jobs? Oh, I forgot. Because she is hot. Silly me! Before I get crazy nasty-grams, I have nothing against beautiful people but I just think people need the skills to back it up.
All this on the day I got my headshot re-done. Hey, I am always full of optimism. I'll still watch the show and crack up each time. And I'll send out my headshot to agents and casting directors. Because you never know...maybe one day the perfect actress for a big role will be a short, freckle-faced, funny woman of color instead of the blond bombshell. Stranger things have happened!
